Pepi's Spaghetti Sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)

  • 2 - 5˝oz cans tomato paste

  • 1 lg can tomatoes

  • 2 bay leaves

  • ˝ tsp each oregano, salt, basil, pepper

  • 1 can sliced mushrooms (or fresh)

Add tomato paste to 1 cup water
Cook for about 10 minutes over medium heat
Add tomatoes, mushrooms, bay leaf, oregano, basil, salt, pepper
Cook over low-medium heat for 1 hour
Hamburger or meat balls are optional
