Sangria Wine Jelly

  • 2 oranges
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/3 cups dry red or white wine
  • 1 pouch Certo Liquid
  • 3 Tbsp brandy

Grate rind from one orange and lemon. Squeeze the juice from both.
Peel, section and chop remaining orange.
Combine juices, rind, orange pulp, sugar and wine in large saucepan.
Mix well.
Place saucepan over high heat. Bring to a full boil and boil hard one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Immediately stir in liquid fruit pectin and then brandy. Skim off foam.
Pour jelly into warm sterilized jars half filling each one, then fill top half of jars up to ¼ inch from rim. Seal and let cool.
