Curried Cheese Ball

  • 250 g (8 oz) package Imperial Sharp Cold Pack Cheddar Cheese (round red package)

  • 250 g (8 oz) package cream cheese

  • 5 ml (1 tsp) curry powder

  • approx. 125 ml (1/2 cup) peach chutney (Superstore's) or Patak’s hot mango chutney

  • 2 green onions, minced

  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) sliced almonds, toasted

  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) currants

  • Rice crackers

Blend together cold pack cheddar, cream cheese & curry powder in food processor (I used my muscle power to blend it well).
Mold into 2 balls & wrap in plastic wrap. Place cheese balls in fridge & refrigerate for a minimum of 6 hrs.
Remove from fridge & cover with chutney (I used the peach chutney from Superstore), green onions, almonds & currents.
