German Apple Cake

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup oil

  • 2 cups each sugar and flour

  • 1 tsp each vanilla and baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 cup nuts

  • 5 sliced apples

  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Beat eggs until foamy
Add oil, sugar, flour, vanilla, cinnamon, nuts, salt and apples (Yup, it's very thick) Be sure to mix well
Place in greased pan and bake at 350F for 45-60 minutes
Frost with cream cheese frosting when cool

Cream cheese frosting

  • 8oz cream cheese (Softened)

  • 2 cups powdered sugar

  • 3 tbsp melted butter

Mix well
