Oreo Cookie Cake

  • 8 cups vanilla ice cream

  • 15 oz pkg Oreo cookies

  • ¼ cup melted butter

Place ice cream in fridge to soften a little
Crush entire package of cookies in food processor using pulse
Place 1½ cups of crumbs in a bowl and stir in melted butter until well mixed
Liberally grease bottom of 9" spring-form pan with butter and firmly press entire crumb mixture evenly over bottom
Stir another 1½ cups of crumbs into softened ice cream and pour mixture into pan
Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top
Place in freezer until firm
Serves 12
