San Antonio Chicken Wings

  • 12 chicken wings

  • 1 cup picante sauce

  • ½ cup ketchup

  • ¼ cup honey

  • ¼ tsp ground cumin

  • ¾ cup sour cream

Cut wings at joints and discard tips
Combine 1/3 cup picante sauce, ketchup, honey and cumin and pour over chicken
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, turning once
Pour marinade off in bowl
Place chicken on rack of foil lined broiler pan and bake at 375F for 30 minutes, basting with marinade every 10 minutes
Place chicken 6 inches from broiler and broil for 2 minutes per side, until sauce looks dry
Serve as appetizers with picante-topped sour cream
