Teriyaki Chicken

  • 2 tbsp margarine

  • 2 tbsp dry mustard

  • 1 lb chicken pieces

  • 1/3 cup honey

  • 2 tbsp Soya sauce

  • 1 tsp ground ginger

  • tsp garlic powder

Melt margarine in shallow casserole dish
Stir in mustard to form thick paste
Dry chicken pieces and roll in mustard paste
Arrange in casserole, skin side down, and bake at 375F for 15 minutes
Turn and bake an additional 15 minutes, Drain fat
Mix honey, Soya sauce , ginger, garlic, and pour over chicken
Bake an additional 20 to 30 minutes until tender and glazed
Serve with stir fried vegetables and steamed rice
Serves 4 to 6
