Cauliflower and Spinach Salad

3 cups cauliflower

½ lb spinach
-
6 tbsp vegetable oil

3 tbsp white wine vinegar
-
1 lg crushed garlic clove
-
½ tsp each salt & pepper
-
½ tsp dry mustard
-
½ tsp basil
-
½ cup toasted slivered almonds
Rinse and drain cauliflower
Wash and trim spinach
Stack and slice in ¼" strips
Cover veggies and chill
Blend oil, vinegar and spices by shaking in a jar
Mix all ingredients gently and serve
