Easy Chocolate Cake

  • ½ cup each margarine and oil

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 cups each sugar and flour

  • 4 tbsp cocoa

  • ½ cup buttermilk

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Bring to boil the margarine, oil, and water
Pour over mixture of sugar, flour and cocoa and mix
Add the baking soda, buttermilk , vanilla and eggs (well beaten) and mix
Pour into 10X4 inch cookie sheet pan and bake at 375F for 20 minutes
Frost and serve

Frosting

  • 1/3 cup buttermilk

  • ¼ cup melted margarine

  • 3 tbsp cocoa

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 cup nuts

  • powdered sugar

Add enough powdered sugar for appropriate thickness
Ice cake when still warm
