Nachinka Corn Meal

  • ¼ lb butter

  • 1 cup corn meal

  • 3 cups warm milk

  • 2 well beaten eggs

  • 1 med onion

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp each salt and baking powder

Fry onions in butter
Turn heat to low and add corn meal, mixing well
Add sugar, salt and milk, stirring slowly until corn meal starts to thicken
Remove from heat and add eggs and baking powder
Place in 325F oven for 1 hour
