Raisin Bars

2 cups flour

1 cup butter

3 tsp baking powder

½ cup sugar

2 eggs
-
pinch of salt
Cream butter and sugar
Add eggs and beat well
Mix dry ingredients and mix in with creamed butter
Press 2/3 of the mixture on a greased 9X13" pan
Spread filling and dot the remaining 1/3 of the mixture over the top of the
filling
Bake at 375F until golden brown (about 30 min)
Raisin filling

1½ cup raisins
-
1 cup water
-
¼ cup brown sugar
-
2 tbsp flour
-
1 tsp vanilla
Boil raisins in water for 10 minutes
Slowly stir in mixture of sugar and flour until thickened
Remove from heat
Add vanilla and cool
